Details: My wife and I had dinner here (Chile rellano, combo plate). Food was very slow arriving (50 min.)with only two other tables of diners. Combo plate was warn and the rellano was cold. Service was almost non existant. I would not recommend this restaurant and the restrooms!!! Forget about it!

Details: On a recent trip to San Felipe we ate twice at El Paraiso. Both times the food was really good, affordable, and exceeded our expectations. The first meal we had was actually a Thanksgiving dinner. For $9 the meal included soup and salad, turkey, mashed and sweet potatoes, stuffing, green beans, dinner rolls, and a jello dish. The restaurant is well decorated and the servers were all polite and friendly. They also have a full bar which was really nice. The second meal we had was breakfast and again, we found it to be tasty and a great value. My only slight complaint was that breakfast took a long time. I understand that food takes awhile, but there was only one other table and we waited 45 minutes from the time we ordered until the time it arrived. If we weren't really hungry we might not have minded, but after two cups of coffee and nothing to eat I was feeling impatient. All in all both experiences were really good and we’d eat there again.
